PlanSwift has created a plugin called Change Takeoff Item that is used for easily changing one takeoff item to another (for example, changing an area “Carpet” takeoff to an area “Tile” takeoff. Note that takeoffs can only be changed, for example, from one area to another area, but not from an area to a linear. The Change Takeoff Item Plugin User Guide is available to guide you in its use.
