If Depending on the type of project, your access could change when you accept an invitation to join a new Organization, you may be wondering what happens to your existing projects. another organization.

  • Takeoff projects: Accepting an invitation to join a new Organization removes you from your existing Organization. When you are no longer associated with an Organization, your access to that organization's projects may be reduced or removed. You can be invited to collaborate on those projects, but you cannot be made "Project Owner". See the CCTO User Guide for details. 
  • ITB projects: If you are the last or only user in your current Organization , when you accept an invitation to join a different organization, your ITB projects follow you to that new Organization. If there are other users in your previous Organization, the projects all will remain there and you lose access to those ITB projects. You can request another ITB be sent to your new Organization by contact contacting the project owner. 
  • User-Created Bid Center projects: Similar to ITB projects, if you are the last or only user in an Organization , when you accept an invitation to join a new Organization, those projects come with you. If there are other users in your previous Organization, the projects all will remain there and you will lose access to them.
  • ConstructConnect Project Intelligence: If the project was made publicpart of your ConstructConnect Project Intelligence subscription, you can locate it in Project Intelligence and add it back to your bid board . If it was not a public project, you can request access to it by requesting an ITB from the project owneras long as you subscribe to the applicable service area in your new Organization
