“New” and “Updated” Indicators
Starting today, ConstructConnect Project Intelligence users will now see two visual indicators in their Search results table, “New” and “Updated”. These indicators provide a visual cue on the search screen when projects are new or have been updated.
There is a new column labeled “Recent” that allows users to see which projects are new or updated, as well as allowing them to sort projects by these indicators.
In the filters, users are able to filter by “New Projects” or “Updated Projects” under “Project Properties”. There is a tool tip next to each of these selections that explains that “New” refers to projects that have been added within the last 48 hours, and “Updated” refers to projects that have been updated in the last 48 hours.
There is also a visual indicator on the PDP just before the project name for new or updated projects.

Question Deadline: A timeline event to inform users of the deadline. Only one question timeline can be active.
Union Labor: Added to the Details section, this field will display either a Required or Not Required designation.
EDGE: “EDGE” stands for Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity Program. This field will display under Set Asides in the Details section.
Max Value: The Value field label has been changed to Max Value.

This field will display in the Bonds section under Details as a percentage.
Certified Check Bond: The Certified Check Bond denotes that in addition to a traditional bond issued by a bonding agency, the surety can also take the form of a certified or cashier’s check, drawn against a reputable financial institution. Several new features were revealed today for the ConstuctConnect platform, including the following improvements:
Saved Search Emails (Replacing DataFax and Daily Project Updates)
ConstructConnect Project Intelligence (CCPI) Pro users will now have the option to enable daily email alerts for any saved search they choose, even those without a search tag associated with it. This will include both new and updated projects that match their search criteria.
Additionally, when loading a saved search, CCPI Pro users will be able to toggle on or off e-mail alerts for up to five (5) new saved searches.
The email template for the Saved Search Emails has a fresh look as well, making it clear to the customer which projects are new or have been updated and for which saved search. These detailed summaries include more relevant information inside the email itself – like bid date, project phase, project value, and links to plan and spec documents – so that customers can more quickly qualify potential projects in CCPI.
As part of the new Saved Search email update, the DataFax service was sunset on November 30. Customers still receiving that service were notified in advance with an opportunity to get email alerts sent to them from saved searches in Project Intelligence.
Bid Submission for Invitations to Bid
Trade contractor customers viewing a direct invitation to bid (ITBs) in ConstructConnect Project Intelligence (CCPI) will now see a new Submit a Bid button on the project details page, enabling them to submit a bid for that project, including information about their trades and coverage, relevant documents, and bid amount.
Once the bid has been submitted, they will receive an email confirmation of their submission, and the status of their bid will change to Bid Sent in ConstructConnect Bid Center (CCBC).
Additionally, General Contractor customers who have ConstructConnect Bid Management (CCBM) will now be able to review, accept, or reject bids that are submitted to them by a trade contractor in response to an invitation to bid.
General Contractors will also be able to do bid leveling for any new submitted bids, simply by clicking on the adjusted bid value in the project grid. Here, they can choose to reset the amount of the bid entirely or add the value for just that trade.
To see a demonstration of how the Bid Submission process works, watch this video.
Removal of ConstructConnect Mobile Apps
As of today, the ConstructConnect platform mobile application will no longer be available on the Google or Apple e-stores. Instead, customers are encouraged to access their subscription data via their favorite browser, or if they have questions, to contact their customer support representative for assistance.

Today, customers using ConstructConnect Bid Management (CCBM) will be able to add, edit, and delete custom data fields to/from their private directory, as well as having access to the data in the Bidder Search and Trades & Coverage sections of CCBM. This enables General Contractors to organize and search for their contacts and/or potential bidders as they relate to the custom data fields they create, as well as any additional values associated with that custom field (e.g., woman, disabled, or minority-owned businesses, broken out by class, as shown below).
Adding this feature also enables General Contractors to filter on any custom field they create so that they can quickly find the subcontractors that match the criteria outlined in the custom field so that they can invite them to bid on a project. To learn how to create, add, delete, or filter for a custom field, review these step-by-step instructions.
April 26, 2023
The Add as Bidder form has been updated to allow General Contractor customers using Project Intelligence to add themselves as a bidder to any subscription project, simply by providing their first and last name and phone number (shown below).
Customers who have requested to be added as bidders to a project will receive an email confirming that their request has been received and that they will be notified of their approval status within two business days. Starting today the Project Feedback feature that will be available for all ConstructConnect Project Intelligence (CCPI) customers. The Project Feedback button is above the Events section of the Project Details Page of a subscription project (shown below).
When a user clicks on the button, a flyout window will open, allowing the user to provide feedback to the ConstructConnect content team about that project. Users can select a reason for their feedback from a dropdown menu (i.e., missing project, post-bid results needed, update timelines, etc.)
After a customer submits their reason code and any other relevant notes, their feedback is delivered to our content team for review and further research.

Four new features have been added to the ConstructConnect platform (Bid Center, Project Intelligence, and Bid Management) to make it easier for trade or general contractors with a Project Intelligence subscription to find and manage their daily work. These new features now enable users to:
Better track and manage their bids by grouping them in their Bid Center (List and Tab views). Projects can be grouped by bid date, location, or type of project by first selecting them and then clicking the “Group” button as shown below.
Make faster, better decisions about the projects in their search results by using the preview pane. Users can determine at-a-glance which projects are a good fit for their business – without having to click away from the search page.
Signal their interest in a project by adding themselves as an interested party to a project. The “Add As Interested” button is conveniently located in two different locations on the subscription project details page: at the top above the Events section and within the Contacts section (both shown below).
Additionally, general contractors with a paid subscription can now use a new Bidder Source filter for their All Bidders List in their Managed Projects. This new filter enables general contractors to select the subcontractors that have been added to their Directory or from any of ConstructConnect’s network of vetted trade contractors.
To access best practices for using these new features, sign up for training or go to our video library for more information.

ConstructConnect Project Intelligence subscribers will see two corrections that were made to the search filter functionality as of today, specifically:
If a user applied a Search Tag to a search, they might see multiples of the same search tag in their search results. This has now been corrected.
Long search keywords were being truncated in the Search filter panel. The search keywords are now displaying correctly as part of a tooltip when a user hovers over the keyword field in the filter panel.

When viewing any subscription project in their search results or in Bid Center, General Contractors who want to be listed as a bidder can click the “Add as Bidder” button on the subscription project details page in one of two locations: at the top of the screen, directly above Events, or from within the Contacts section.
Clicking on the Add as Bidder button will reveal a form with almost all the needed information populated. To complete the process, the General Contractor simply needs to add their Contact Name and Phone Number.
After clicking submit, the customer will receive an email confirming that their request has been received. Several minor quality updates were made to ConstructConnect’s Project Intelligence software today. They are:
The “Save Search As” button is now fully visible in the top-level navigation (it was partially hidden before in a recent update to the software user interface).
The LinkedIn icon is now next to a contact’s name on the Company Details page. Users can simply click on the icon to be taken to that contact’s profile on LinkedIn.
Former iSqFt users can now remove projects from their Watch List in Project Intelligence as needed and expected.
Long names for saved searches that were initially created in iSqFt are no longer being truncated in Project Intelligence. Users will now be able to see the full name for their saved search.
October 24, 2022
Project Intelligence customers can now display their search results for new project opportunities in a map view. By adding an option to display results in a map format, customers will have greater flexibility and be able to visualize project information more easily. The map also enables customers to readily identify hot spots of activity or patterns, using all the features of Google® maps: layers (terrain/ satellite), street view, and zoom in/out. Once a customer has found projects they’re interested in, they can navigate around the map to see additional information for any of their selected projects, including bid stage and date, project value, and match score.

Today, Project Intelligence customers will see a new, more intuitive layout when searching for projects or companies. Clicking on the search bar will expand and allow customers to choose how they want to search. Clicking the checkboxes will indicate which information they want to search, like project or company names, project descriptions or details, or documents. They can also select their search type – an exact match of a keyword or phrase or a “smart” search that will look for variations of a keyword string.
There are now multiple ways to load a search. When clicking on the search bar, a customer can rerun a recent search, or they can load any saved search by clicking on the load search button. Or, if they want to clear all filters and keywords to start fresh, click on the New Search.
Additionally, customers can now:
Save their sort and column settings with their saved searches. This allows users to organize information according to their preferences and save those preferences for future searches.
Select and save their most frequently used saved search as their default search that will load first when visiting the search page.
Save a search (including any applied filters and keywords) with the click of a button. When saving a search, customers can also choose to add a color-coded search tag or set it as their default search.
Customers can also load their saved searches with a new button. The load search panel can also be used to delete any saved search when it's no longer needed or designate a new default search.
Click on the lightbulb in the search bar to download a helpful search tips resource guide that includes suggestions on which kind of search to use to help them find what they're looking for more quickly.

Users of ConstructConnect’s Bid Center may have noticed a “cog” icon in the top-level navigation, indicating options for displaying Active, Not Bidding, and Archived projects. General Contractors can save time by significantly streamlining pre-bid day communications workflows using ConstructConnect’s new Communications Template Editor. The first of several new administrative enhancements to the ConstructConnect platform, the Communications Template Editor includes three out-of-the-box templates and two communication themes (colors and fonts) to quickly and easily create a library of messages for different audiences/trades or purposes (i.e., an invitation to bid vs. a schedule change).
Completely customizable, ConstructConnect customers can also create corporate-branded communications by uploading their company’s logo, corporate colors and fonts, and personalized messaging. This lets your invited Trade Contractors respond more quickly by allowing them to easily determine crucial project-related information, such as which company is inviting them to bid, what trades are needed for the project, and bid submission dates.

Acting as an online bid board, Card View enables trade contractors and their teams to organize, prioritize and take immediate action on all of their active projects - whether invitations to bid or projects that have been added to Bid Center (by ConstructConnect or a member of their team). All the information on each project card can be completelcustomized entirelyorted according to Project Name or Bid Date, and if the project includes documents, project teams can view them without having to leave Bid Center. Once a project has been reviewed, its bid status can be easily changed by simply dragging and dropping the project card.

Today’s product feature reveal provides ConstructConnect Project Intelligence subscribers with a new, easy-to-use shortcut to view, export, or change the status of inactive projects (Not Bidding or Archived).
Located at the top right on the main Bid Center navigation menu, the new icon provides easy access to the additional data needed to get an accurate view of a company’s entire bidding pipeline. This change is also more user-friendly for our customers using smaller screens - such as tablets or even some laptops - enabling ready access to projects without having to scroll horizontally.
