To open any link in a new tab, preserving your position in the current article, just hold down the <CTRL> key on your keyboard before clicking the link or click using your mouse wheel.
Why is my cursor jumping to the nearest point when I’m doing a takeoff?
This happens because you are in Snap mode. Snap mode is set to jump your cursor to the nearest point to assist in quicker takeoffs. If you need to set points close to other points and do not want this snapping action, simply click on Snap to turn off Snap.
