The Insight: Projects page Contacts page lists both the projects contacts that are a match associated with your CRM search and the projects that you have imported into your Salesforce the companies in your account. You can use the features on the Insight: Projects page Contacts page to filter and sort the project contact list, search for specific terms in projects contacts and view the project listing in Salesforce.

How to use the Insight:
ProjectsContacts page
The Insight: Projects Contacts page lists the Insight projects that are imported into your account based on your CRM search in Insightthe contacts that are associated with the companies in your Salesforce account. You can use the features on the page to review the projects contacts for potential opportunities, leads and other options. use in your account.
To use the Insight: Projects pageContacts page,
- use the features on the page to sort, filter, and search the list of projectscontacts. You can also view the the Insight details pages for the projects in Insightcontacts. Use the topics in this section for more information about performing these tasks.
- To view the details of a project in contact in Salesforce, click on the NameContact Name value in the column list to list to open the related details page. From there you can review and select the project for an opportunity, lead or other optioncontact for potential use in your account. For more information, see the Help topic for next to each feature in Salesforce.

Applying View filters
You can apply a global filter to all of the projects in your account the full list of contacts by using the View feature at the top of the page.
To apply a View filter,
- in the View menu, select the option to use.
Result: The menu refreshes and the projects contacts displayed match your selected option.
The following page describes the options you can use in the View menu.

All Project Contacts | The total number of contacts associated with the projects in the Search tab. Note that contacts are no longer shown in this list once the contact is converted to a Salesforce contact. |

Selecting and ordering the columns
You can select up to 10 columns to be displayed in the window. You can also select the left to right column order along the page.
Note: To select which columns are displayed on the page, see Understanding project For a description of the column values, see Understanding contact column values.
To open the column selection menu,
- click My Columns in the upper right section of the page.
To select the columns to display,
- in the menu, select values in the Available Fields menu and then click the arrow for Add to move them to the Selected Fields menu.
To order the columns along the page,
- select the value in the Selected Fields menu and then click the arrow for either Up or Down.

- select the value in the Selected Fields menu and then click the arrow for either Up or Down.
Searching the
projectscontacts in the list
The search feature at the top of the page lets you locate words that are used in the project contact listings on the page.
Note: You can only perform a simple search. Advanced and Boolean searching is not currently supported.
To search listings,
- enter the search terms in the search bar at the top of the page and then click the spy glass icon.
Result: The menu refreshes with the listings that match your search terrmsterms.
Note: Click the Insight: Search tab Contacts tab at the top of the window to reset the page.

Using the Filters menu
You can apply filters to the projects contacts in the list to get the exact results that you want.
To use the Filters menu,
- select the filtering option from the list and then click Apply.
Result: The list refreshes with the revised results. Click Clear Filters to reset the menu.
Notes:
- To see all filters for an option, click the arrow > to expand the option menu.
- You can still apply filtering options even when the column for the selected option is not currently displayed in the window.
The following table describes all of the options that you can use to filter your projects contacts list. Note that the maximum number of columns you can only set ten columns to show at one timedisplay is ten.

Select to filter by the category of a project. Note that all categories are selected by default.
Contact Type | The type of work associated with the contact. |
Open Project Value | The total value of the projects for all the contacts in your account. |
Project Last Updated | Use the date menu to select the range for the most recent update to the project listing. All date ranges are selected by default. |
When present, select a search from the list to filter the list by the parameters of the selected search.
Total Material Demand Value | The total Material Demand value of the projects associated with the contacts in your account. For more information, see Material Demand FAQs. |
Understanding the contact column values
The following table describes the column values for of the columns in the list. Note: To set which columns show in the list, see Selecting and ordering the columns. on the My Insight:Contacts page.

Indicates if the project estimate is confirmed by the CMD Research Department.
Values are:
- Confirmed value - The estimate is confirmed by the CMD Research Department.
- Staff estimate - The value for the project is an estimate provided by the CMD Research Department.

Last Modified Date | The date of the most recent update to the contact listing. |

Projects listed as service, maintenance and supply (SMS) are projects that include bids for construction materials or project materials (such as electronic equipment, furniture, and wiring). Also included is work for services or trades that are task specific, such as tree pruning, on-call, renewable, or as needed (such as snow removal). SMS bid opportunities typically call for ongoing services over time, rather than a single trade project (such as re-roofing). These services or supplies are construction related, typically performed by contractors who are also interested in construction project opportunities.
Values are:
- TRUE - The project is SMS.
- FALSE - The project is not SMS.

Type | The role that the company for the contact typically plays on a project, such as Accommodations/Hospitality or Utilities. |
