To remove a scale from a page:
1. Select the desired page.
2. Click on the Scale button in the Home tab.
3. Click the Clear Scale button, and the scale will be removed from that page (see video below).
To open any link in a new tab, preserving your position in the current article, just hold down the <CTRL> key on your keyboard before clicking the link or click using your mouse wheel.
