With your Project Intelligence Pro subscription, you can easily group projects in your Bid Center to better organize and manage your bidding opportunities.

NOTE: Projects can only be grouped using the List View or Tab View in Bid Center.

Grouping Opportunities in List View

1

To begin, start by clicking on two or more projects in your list of opportunities. Two new buttons will appear: Change Status and Group.
To group your selected projects, click on Group, and then Add to Existing Group (shown below).

2

Next, a pop-up window will appear, allowing you to add a Group Name for the projects you just selected. The Group Name must be unique; no two groups can have the same name.

3

A message will appear, confirming that your unique project grouping was successfully created (see example group below).

4

The projects are now grouped together and appear under the assigned Group Name. Project Groups will appear sorted in whatever way you selected (i.e., Project Name, Bid Date, Bid Status, etc.).

PRO TIP: You can also change the status of one or more of your projects in your groups simply by clicking Change Status. Select which status you want from the drop-down menu - Inbox, Under Review, Bidding, Bid Sent, Won, Not Bidding.

Grouping Opportunities in Tab View

1

Start by selecting the project stage where you want to group your projects. The Bidding tab is selected in the example below.

Next, as with the List view, start by clicking on two or more projects in your list of opportunities. Two new buttons will appear: Change Status and Group. To group your selected projects, click on Group, and then Add to Existing Group.

All project groups will appear in the collapsed view, revealing only the top-level information. This is true regardless of the expanded/collapsed state of the groups during the last visit. During a session, you can choose to expand each group individually or all groups as needed.

Projects in a grouping that have different status than the current status tab you are viewing are filtered out, which is indicated next to the Group Name. See the Filtering section below for more information.

Adding Projects to an Existing Group

You can add selected projects to an existing group at any time. Click on Add to Existing Group from the drop-down menu under Group. Next, select which group you want to add your projects to at that time. The system will then confirm that you have successfully added these projects to your existing group.

Archived projects and projects with a Not Bidding status will NOT appear in a Project Group. Therefore, if any project in a group is archived or moved to a Not Bidding status it will no longer appear in the group nor be a part of the group.

Filtering Project Groups

When using filters in Bid Center, only the projects relevant to the selected filters will be displayed; those projects that have been filtered out will be hidden and a number showing how many have been filtered out will appear in a message next to the Project Group name.

If all projects are filtered out in a group, then the group will no longer appear to the user while the filters are applied.
