The details page for managed projects contains all of the known information for the project.

Working with the Call Sheet

The call sheet is used by prospective bidders to see the trades for the project. You can customize the list to include all project trades or only specific trades.   

To work with the call sheet,

  • click Call Sheet from the top right of the window.

  • In the menu, select the trades you want to include in the exported document.

  • Select Export Call Sheet as CSV to export the file as a formatted spreadsheet.

Working with Copy, Security, Preview and ProCore 

Clicking the three dots at the top right of the page to gives you access to the options for working with the project, as described in the following table.  

Option

Description

Copy

You can create a copy of a project that can be used as a basis for another project. You can select to include or exclude the project details, documents, trades and bidders list.

When present, you can also select addenda options: automatically copy future, notify when available and ignore addenda changes.

  • To copy the project, choose from the following:

    • click Copy Project in the three dot menu. 

    • click Copy Project on the top right of the project page. 

Security

This option allows bidders to send your project to others by sharing or forwarding your invite. These bidders appear as referred in the invite status column. Use the Project Security menu to make your selection.  

Preview

Click to open the Recipient preview of the project in a separate window. Note that some actions are disabled in the preview.  

ProCore

Click to send the project to the ProCore project management web site.  

Viewing the bid date & time and project events

The bid date and time and any project events are shown below the option for the call sheet.These values and information are extracted from the main topics for each in the body of the project Information section. For more information see the topics for Bid Date and Events in the following sections. 

Invitations 

The Invitations panel on the right side of the page displays the count of sent and pending Invitations to Bid (ITBs) on the project and the options view, send and resend invitations. To continue, see Working with Invitations.

Trades and Bidders

The Trades & Bidder Management panel on the right side of the page displays summary information of the trade and bidder status for the project. For a full description of this information, see Working with Trades & Coverage

Working with project information

The Information section displays basic information about the project as described in the following sections.

Primary Contact 

The primary contact is the person creating and responsible for the project. Information includes email address, phone and fax numbers.

To edit the information,

  • click Edit Primary Contact.

  • Make any changes to the information and click Save Primary Contact when you are done.

Note to Bidders  

Notes for the project added by you or another member of your company. The number of notes for the project is shown next to the section name. 

You can add, edit and delete notes:

  • Click Add Note and enter your note in the box.

  • Click Edit Note to change or delete an existing note.

When you are done,

  • click Save Note to complete the task

Viewing project history  

The project history section contains a list of updates to the project in chronological order. Information includes the type of change, the person making the update, the date and time of the change, and any notes about the change.

To view project history,

  • click View History.

Details   

The Details section contains the following information about the project:

  • Project ID - The ConstructConnect number for the project.

  • Status - The current status of the project, such as Sub-Bidding.

  • Value - The total value of the project in US dollars.

  • Project Type - The type of the project, such as Renovation.

  • Building Use - The anticipated end use of the project, such as Retail.

To add or edit project details,

  • click Add or Edit Details above the section to open the editing menu. 

  • Make any changes to the project and click Save Changes when you are done.

Events 

The Events section lists any known upcoming events for the project, such as bid dates and start dates.

To add a project event,

  • click Add or Edit Details above the Details section.

  • Below the Events section, click Add Event and choose from the following: 

    • Municipal Meeting

    • Pre-bid Meeting

    • Request for Proposal

    • Request for Qualification

    • Site Walkthrough

  • Use the calendar to set the date and time.

  • Click Save Changes above the Details section when you are done.

Result: The new event is displayed in the list of events. 

To edit an event,

  • follow the steps above and edit or delete content as needed.

  • Click Save Changes above the Details section when you are done.

To delete an event,

  • click the X next to the event you want deleted.

Documents  

The Documents section displays the number of documents uploaded to the project by the categories of plans, specifications and addenda. 

  • Click Open in Viewer to view the documents in the Document Viewer.

  • Click Open in ConstructConnect Takeoff to send the documents for takeoff processing.

Location

The physical address and map of the project location. Click on the map to open the location in Google© Mapping Service.

To edit the location,

  • click Add or Edit Details above the Details section.

  • Above the map, enter the new project address.

  • Click Save Changes above the Details section when you are done.

Description 

The Description section contains summary information about the project.

To edit the description,

  • click Add or Edit Details above the Details section.

  • Enter your information in the Description box.

  • Click Save Changes above the Details section when you are done.

Design Team Contacts  

The Design Team Contacts section contains the list of participants on the project and includes for each listing company and contact name, company website and role generally played by the company on a project and contact phone and fax numbers. The number of contacts for the project is shown next to the section title.

To add a contact,

  • click Add Design Team Contact.

  • Complete the fields in the menu and then click Save.

Result: The contact is added to the list.
