Overview
The Earthwork Pro Plugin adds several tools and templates into PlanSwift.
On the Home Tab you will have a new ribbon group labeled Earthwork Pro V3 with three new buttons (Figure 1)
This guide will teach you how to properly use the tools and features found within the Earthwork Pro* plugin. It is designed for use with PlanSwift® Takeoff and Estimating Software. Be sure the watch the videos to get help with how to start and finish a job. This guide is not meant to be a step-by-step “walk through” document, although it can be used as a reference for getting the work done. Primarily, it is designed to cover tools and features in more detail than in the videos. Consult this guide if you encounter technical difficulty. Product Overview
Welcome! Earthwork Pro will add several new tools and templates into PlanSwift once you have completed the installation. (For installation tips refer to the FAQ)
Earthwork Pro
On the Home Tab you will have a new ribbon group labeled Earthwork Pro V3 with three new buttons (Figure 1)
Spot Elevations
Note: Earthwork Pro now allows you to input Spot Elevations and then triangulate the points. This was a big customer request from version 2.0. We are happy to report that it was successfully developed and is the key feature upgrade, along with several others, in version 3.0. It is reason we updated from version 2.0 to 3.0. (Figure 1)
Working Space
Note: Earthwork Pro now has a feature that allows you to add extra space for workers to your digitized areas. Refer to Digitizing Existing & Proposed in this guide. (Figure 1)
On the right
