System Requirements (workstation)
Minimum System Requirements are just that, minimums for the software to run, however they will not provide an optimal experience for using QuoteSoft Duct 4. We also provide “Recommendations” and encourage you to meet or exceed those to make your time using Duct 4 the most productive.

Operating System
Windows® 10 Pro, Pro for Workstations, or Enterprise, 64 Bit
You must keep your Windows system updated with all Microsoft' updates to install and continue to use our software.
ConstructConnect has not tested Duct 4 on Windows 11, but there are no technical reasons it should not work. Just make sure your hardware is up to the task of running Windows and Duct 4.

Microsoft SQL Express is installed with QuoteSoft products. SQL Express is limited to databases no larger than 10GB which may not meet your business needs. QuoteSoft supports Microsoft SQL 2014 Standard or Enterprise support much larger (524 petabytes) database size.
Graphics and Displays
Required
Minimum display resolution: 1920 x 1080
1 GB of Graphics Memory (Graphics acceleration requires Direct X 11)
Recommended
Multiple monitors are recommended (such as 2 - 27” HD or 1 standard and 1 4K 32” or larger, etc.)

QuoteSoft products must be installed by local Windows administrator (domain Admins may be restricted by security policy), see Related Articles for additional information
Classic functionality that requires Microsoft Excel or Word works with fully-licensed, locally installed versions of Microsoft's supported software only (web apps do not work with our software).
SQL Server 2012, 2014, and 2017 (full or express versions), see CLS - Using SQL with Classic Products for more information. If you are using an older version of SQL, you must upgrade SQL before installing any OCS product updates.
Apple Users
There are two environments in which supported products may be installed on an Apple computer running MAC OSX:
Bootcamp - this is a separate partition from MAC OSX on which a stand-alone installation of Windows is running. This allows the user to run Windows OR MAC OSX but not both at the same time. Because this is "normal" installation of Windows, this environment is supported.
Parallels (or any other virtualization product) - this allows a MAC OSX user to run a virtualized installation of Windows within the MAC OSX environment. This is not a stand-alone installation of Windows, it is sort of running Windows within a window, so to speak. ConstructConnect cannot provide technical support for this installation, although, as stated above, there is no technical reason this would not work.
