What is Beta Search, and why should I try it?
Beta Search offers a user-friendly way to search for projects or companies that match your needs. Improved keyword search and filtering options make finding relevant results easier than ever.
To learn how to use Beta Search, see Beta Search Page Overview.
How do I access Beta Search?
Click the spyglass icon in the sidebar menu and select Beta Search to access the Beta Search page, where you can explore new features like improved filters and keyword search.
To learn more about accessing the Beta Search page, see Beta Search Page Overview.
How have the search filters been improved?
We’ve redesigned some filters to give you more control over your search results. Narrow down your search by applying filters that match your needs, whether you’re looking for specific project types or companies.
To learn more about all the search filters, see Beta Search Filter Glossary.
How does Keyword Search work in Beta Search?
Keyword Search lets you quickly find relevant projects or companies by typing a keyword or phrase into the search bar. You can refine your search with Smart Search or Exact Search and use operators like AND, OR, NEAR, and NOT to filter your results further.
To learn more about keyword search, see Keyword Search.
Can I still do a Smart Search or an Exact Search?
Yes, you can still perform a Smart Search (which includes variations of your Keyword) or an Exact Search (which only searches for your exact Keyword). When you search for a keyword, Smart Search is now the default. To perform an Exact Search, use quotation marks around your search terms.
To learn more about Smart Search vs. Exact Search, see Keyword Search.
Where are my Saved Searches?
We are continuing to add features to Beta Search, so some features like saving a search, loading a Saved Search, and starting a new search will be available soon. In the meantime, you can still find these features, along with your Saved Searches, through the original Search experience. Don’t worry; as soon as this feature is available in Beta Search, your Saved Searches will automatically move over so you won’t lose anything.
