Setting your Predict Preferences
Your Predict Preferences are used to help you find the projects and companies that are the best fit for your business needs. Any changes you make to your preferences selections are immediately reflected in your account.

Accessing and Using the Menu
The Predict Preferences menu is where you select the values used to locate projects that best fit with your business needs. Each section contains specific information for setting up your preferences.
To access your settings,
in the header menu, click on your name and then click Predict Preferences:
Result: The Predict Preferences menu is displayed:
Note: Clicking on a section opens the segment for editing. When editing a segment, all other segments are listed on the left side of the page:
Click Next to move to the next segment, Previous to move to the previous segment or Overview from the top left of the window to return to the Predict Preferences window.
Your changes are automatically saved.
Trades
The Trades section lets you view and set your preferred CSI Division Trades. Your current selection of trades is displayed on the Trades panel:
To set your trades,
1 | From the Predict Preferences window, click on the Trades panel. Result: The menu for setting trades is displayed. |
2 | In the menu, click the arrow in the Division menu and select the Division for your trade. Result: The Trades for the matching Division are displayed: |
3 | Each trade shown in the menu includes all the CSI codes for the trade.

Service Area
The Service Area menu lets you view and set the preferred geographical area by counties for your projects. Your current service area is displayed in the map on the Service Area panel:
To access the service menu selections,
from the Predict Preferences window, click on the Service Area panel.
Result: The menu for setting your service area is displayed.
By Postal Code Radius
To set the service area by postal code radius,
click Radius to open the postal code radius menu.
In the Distance box, select how far out from the postal code zone you want to expand your service area.
In the Postal (Zip) Code box, enter the postal code.
Click Search.
Result: The matching state and counties matching your selection are displayed in the list and in the map.
To select counties from the list, you can either
click on the county names to toggle the county in and out of your service area or
click either Select All or Deselect All at the top of a state to set the service area status for the entire state.
When you finish setting the preferences for the segment, you can
click Next to move to the next segment,
Previous to move to the previous segment
click Overview from the top left of the window or
close the window. Your changes are automatically saved.
By State
To set the service area by state,
click State to open the county selection menu.
In the Country box, select either United States or Canada.
In the box, enter the abbreviation for the state and click Search.Â
Result: The matching counties for the state are displayed.Â
To select counties, you can either
click on the county names to toggle the county in and out of your service area or
click either Select All or Deselect All to set the service area status for the entire state. Â
When you finish setting the preferences for the segment, you can
click Next to move to the next segment,Â
Previous to move to the previous segmentÂ
click Overview from the top left of the window orÂ
close the window. Your changes are automatically saved. Â
By Your Subscription
To set the service area by your subscription entitlement, Â
click Subscription to open the subscription selection menu.Â
In the list, the counties highlighted blue are currently selected for your service area.Â
Note:Â The list is separated by state.Â
To select counties from the list, you can
click on the county names to toggle the county in and out of your service area or
click either Select All or Deselect All to set the service area status for the entire state. Â
When you finish setting the preferences for the segment, you can
click Next to move to the next segment,Â
Previous to move to the previous segmentÂ
click Overview from the top left of the window orÂ
close the window. Your changes are automatically saved.  Â
Favorite Companies
To set your service area by your favorite companies, Â
Click either
the Favorite Companies panel from the Predict Preferences window orÂ
Favorite Companies from the left side menu.
click Company to open the company selection menu. The companies already in your service area are listed on the left side of the window.Â

When you finish setting the preferences for the segment, you can
click Next to move to the next segment,Â

Building Uses
To set the building use preferences for the projects in your service area,Â
Click either
the Building Uses panel from the Predict Preferences window orÂ
Building Uses from the left side menu.
In both columns, you can select and edit the currently selected building use types.Â
Clicking on use type in the left column removes it from the right column.Â
When you finish setting the preferences for the segment, you can
click Next to move to the next segment,Â
Previous to move to the previous segmentÂ
click Overview from the top left of the window orÂ
close the window. Your changes are automatically saved.  Â
Project Status
To select the project status you want for projects in your service area,Â
Click either
the Project Status panel from the Predict Preferences window orÂ
Project Status from the left side menu.
In the menu, you can click to add or remove the selected status from your preferences.
When you finish setting the preferences for the segment, you can
click Next to move to the next segment,
Previous to move to the previous segment
click Overview from the top left of the window or
close the window. Your changes are automatically saved.
Sector
To select the sector that you want for projects in your service area,
Click either
the Sector panel from the Predict Preferences window or
Sector from the left side menu.
In the menu, you can click to add or remove sectors from your preferences.
When you finish setting the preferences for the segment, you can
click Next to move to the next segment,
Previous to move to the previous segment
click Overview from the top left of the window or
close the window. Your changes are automatically saved.
Project Value
To select the value of the projects that you want in your service area,
Click either
the Sector panel from the Predict Preferences window or
Sector from the left side menu.
In the menu, use the slider to select the value range.
When you finish setting the preferences for the segment, you can
click Next to move to the next segment,
Previous to move to the previous segment
click Overview from the top left of the window or
close the window. Your changes are automatically saved.
