Pan

The second to the left button in the toolbar is the Pan tool.

The Pan tool allows you to move around the document while zoomed in.

Click on the hand icon or use the keyboard shortcut p. When zoomed in on a document, click and hold while moving your mouse around to move around the document.

Select

Marquee Zoom

The Marquee Zoom tool lets you click and drag across a portion of a document to zoom into that part of the page. You can also click a specific point on the document to zoom in incrementally.

Zoom In / Zoom Out

The Zoom Out and Zoom In tools will allow you to zoom out of or into a document incrementally.

Zoom Presets

In between the Zoom Out and Zoom In buttons, there is a dropdown with multiple preset zoom options:

  • Fit to Page: Resize the document to match the height of the viewing portion of the screen so you can see the full document without needing to scroll up and down.

  • Fit to Width: Resize the document to match the width of the viewing portion of the screen. If you open, close, or adjust the size of the sidebar, the document width will change with it.

  • Single Page Scroll: View one page at a time. Scroll up or down to view a document’s previous or next page.

  • Continuous Scroll: Pages display continuously, one after the other. As you scroll down, you can see the start of the next page while still seeing the end of the current page.

Fullscreen

The Fullscreen tool covers the entirety of your computer screen. Press the esc key to exit the Fullscreen.
