QuoteSoft Duct 4.1.5 is a planned maintenance release to update the installer to account for Microsoft’s termination of support for SQL 2014. This release also fixes numerous customer-reported bugs.

Changes

• Removed SQL Server Express 2014 from the installer as it is no longer supported by Microsoft. During installation, Support will help you decided which version of SQL Server you’ll need to install if you don’t already have a suitable SQL Server available and walk you through installation (SQL Server is a requirement). Microsoft and SQL Server are registered trademarks of Microsoft Corporation.

  • Support does not install Microsoft’s SQL Server Management Studio, you’ll need to install that after installing QuoteSoft Duct if you want to import a custom database or perform database maintenance (backups, restores, etc.).
