To open any link in a new tab, preserving your position in the current article, just hold down the <CTRL> key on your keyboard before clicking the link or click using your mouse wheel.
Auto Count Library
If you use the Auto Count feature within PlanSwift regularly, there is a library tool available to you that makes using Auto Count even more convenient and efficient.
You can save your symbols and count items into the library and use them again on future jobs without re-creating the symbol on every new job.
To set up a library item, you must first set up the library itself. To do so, select the Auto Count button at the top of the screen.
In the Auto Count pop-up window, select the Library button in the bottom right.

Now you can see the library. A few items and categories are included with PlanSwift.
Categories
You can change the selected category by selecting the Categories drop-down on the right.Â
If you want to add a new category, simply press the Add button underneath that drop-down. Then type in the new category's name and press the Post button.
Now that category is added, and you can assign new count items to that category when adding them to the library.
Creating a Library Item
You add a new count item directly underneath the Categories field by pressing the Add button.
Then give the item a name, a shape, choose whether you want to scale it with specific dimensions, and then indicate a color.
Select Apply to add this item to the currently selected category.
You can also easily add auto count items you've created within this project to your library. After you press the auto count button and see the list of auto count symbols you've used in this project, right-click on an item you want to add to your library. Then choose the Add to Library Category option, and select the category to which you want to add this item. And just like that, the item is now in your library, and you can use it on your next job.
Using an Item from the Library
Now that you know how to create and maintain your library, to use one of these saved items in your current project:
Click the Auto Count button at the top of the screen.
Select the Library button in the bottom right.Â
Select the appropriate category using the Categories drop-down on the right.
Choose the desired item from the "Pre-Defined Counts" section on the left and double-click it.
Then it pulls that item back into the normal Auto Count window.
